Junior Graphic & Communications Designer (f/m/x) in part-time (20 hours/week)

PermanentPart timeHamburg / RemoteBrand & Communications

We have big plans for Tomorrow. Our vision: Establish sustainable finance at the heart of society. That's a hell of a lot of work - so let's get started.

As our Junior Graphic & Communications Designer (f/m/x), you will be part of the Brand & Communications team and contribute your ideas and designs to creating content for our communication channels. Your focus will be on designing digital media, but you will also occasionally support us with print products. You will therefore play a key role in our mission to making banking an accessible and enjoyable experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creation of assets for our standard communication channels: mainly social media, but also our online Magazine, mailings, in-app assets, and also some print media
  • Digital editorial design (for our Sustainability Report, for example)
  • Creative assistance with campaigns and projects

What we’re looking for

  • You have completed your degree or traineeship in the field of communication design, media design or a similar course/subject and have already gained your first relevant practical experience, during internships, for example.
  • You have good visual awareness and the ability to visualize and can adapt the visual identity of our brand to different media.
  • You have a well-trained eye for layouts and typography and a good understanding of brand design.
  • You are a proficient user of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Figma. Experience in motion design/animation, moving images, photography or UI/UX would be an advantage.
  • You have excellent organizational skills and are able to turn briefings into initial designs in a fast and structured way.
  • You enjoy a mix of independent and collaborative work.
  • You are fluent in English.
  • You support the idea to create a better future for everyone by using money as a force for good.

What we offer

It will be fun too, we promise! Together with more than 100 like-minded colleagues, you will work every day to win people over to sustainable finance. Our culture is based on our values, our active new work philosophy and on clear, ambitious goals. But the best way to get to know us is to come and meet us and experience Tomorrow for yourself.

You want to work remotely?

We want to give all employees at Tomorrow the opportunity to organize their personal life and working hours flexibly and in keeping with their own requirements. Working from home and mobile work are therefore integral parts of our remote-friendly work culture. At the same time, we believe in the huge advantages of meeting up and working together in person. Our fantastic office in Hamburg is the perfect space for this and available to you any time. Our office is wheelchair-accessible, has ground-level access and offers flexible options for designing your workspace. We expect our future Junior Graphic & Communications Designer (f/m/x) to spend approximately 1 day per week working on-site in our office. We will be happy to discuss all other details with you when we meet you (virtually) in person.

What’s the next step?

We'd like to welcome you to our community.
That is why we want to engage with you at eye level and invite you to come as you are - even if you think you don’t fit all the requirements yet.

If you're interested in working with us we need the following from you:

  • Your resume, without photo or birth information
  • Your salary expectations and earliest possible starting date
  • Your portfolio
  • A few sentences about your motivation to build the banking of tomorrow with us

Besides, we would appreciate it if you let us know how you would like to be addressed (pronoun / preferred name) so that we can take that into account throughout the application process.
